๐ง Edge AI gets smarter with FuzzPrismEdge ๐ง
A new architecture called FuzzPrismEdge addresses limitations of Deep Neural Networks on IoT devices causing battery drain and overheating. Developed by Mustafa Abdulkadhim and Sandor. R. Repas, this system dynamically scales computations based on real-time environmental context. Testing showed that this framework extends autonomous operational lifespan by 60.0% to 66.7% compared to static models. It uses a Fuzzy Logic Controller to decide between deep sleep, lightweight processing, or heavy object detection. This intelligent resource allocation conserves RAM and avoids unnecessary GPU use on edge nodes.
