Dubai opened a new four-lane bridge as part of the Al Qudra Road Development Project to ease congestion. This upgrade was executed by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) at a key intersection on the southern side of Al Qudra Road. The project increases capacity from 7,800 to 19,400 vehicles per hour, achieving an 85 per cent reduction in waiting time. This development supports Dubai’s urban growth, serving over 400,000 residents and visitors across various developments. Further bridges and road expansions are planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
