health π DR Congo fights Ebola with vaccine drive
DR Congo is launching a major Ebola vaccination campaign to control its worst outbreak yet. Health officials are leading the effort in Kisangani, Congo, using the Ervebo vaccine. Since mid-May, the country has seen over 5,600 confirmed cases and more than 2,700 deaths. Despite the lack of approved vaccines for the Bundibugyo strain, authorities are administering shots. The country is set to receive a total of 70,000 vaccine doses.
