Delhi has recorded over 1,777 H1N1 cases out of more than 2,300 Influenza-A cases this year. This rise was evident with 114 H1N1 cases reported on Thursday alone in the national capital. The government has advised citizens to wear masks and maintain respiratory hygiene to prevent further spread. Hospitals have been placed under special surveillance, and technical guidelines for management have been issued. Officials are continuously monitoring the situation through the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme to manage the outbreak.
