ποΈ Congress MP shuts down Vijay's PM ambitions
Congress MP Karti Chidambaram dismissed the talk about TVK supporters seeing Tamil Nadu CM Vijay as the next PM on Monday. Chidambaram made these remarks while responding to Vijay's attendance at the 31st Southern Zonal Council meeting chaired by Amit Shah. He emphasized that achieving the Prime Ministerial post demands support from at least 272 MPs in Parliament. Chidambaram suggested that TVK's leadership could have grand dreams, but parliamentary numbers are the real decider. This follows earlier criticism from Manickam Tagore about some ministers operating in a 'fan club mode'.
