tech π» Cloudflare's Kitesurf browser runs entirely on Workers
Cloudflare has launched Kitesurf, a new agent-first browser that operates completely on Workers. This tool was built for AI agents needing screenshots and HTML extraction without the cost of a full Chromium session. Benchmarks show Kitesurf uses about 3.1x less CPU for screenshots and 3.8x less for HTML extraction compared to warm-pool Chromium. It prioritizes structured content and isolation over human-browser features like tabs and themes. Developers can try the public playground at kitesurf.cloudflare.app to see its capabilities.
