The Chief Justice of India stated that allegations made by Justice Sandeep Mehta against Rajasthan High Court Acting Chief Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma will be handled via the institutional process. This was stated by CJI Surya Kant on Wednesday, addressing concerns raised in letters from Justice Mehta. The CJI emphasized that no finding can be made publicly, and the process will review Mehta's material along with Sharma's response. These allegations, which include maladministration, were made in letters dated August 2, 10, and 17. Any action regarding Sharma will be decided by the competent institutional authority after due consideration.
