tech π€ Chinese robot beats Usain Bolt's speed record
A Chinese robotics firm named Unitree unveiled its new humanoid robot, "Superman," in a video released on Monday. The robot was developed in just over three months and claimed a top speed of 12.66 metres per second in the demonstration. This speed slightly surpasses Usain Bolt's estimated peak speed of 12.42 metres per second from his 2009 Berlin run. Unitree is currently preparing to trade on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's STAR Market after a massive IPO. This launch solidifies Unitree's position in the rapidly expanding humanoid robot sector.
