A new Chinese satellite successfully tracked and filmed a piece of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket impacting the moon. This tracking was done by China's Gande-1 01 debris monitoring satellite, launched on July 24. The impact occurred on Wednesday near the Einstein crater, showing no visible plume in the images. The technology test serves as a proof of capability for China's space situational awareness system. This is part of a planned monitoring constellation set to be finished by 2030. π°οΈ
