๐ง China moves fast on brain chip tech
China has introduced its first commercial policy covering invasive brain-computer interface (BCI) surgery. This development was announced by PICC Property and Casualty in partnership with a hospital affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine in Hangzhou. The policy was announced on Wednesday, leading to a 1.59% rise in BCI-linked stocks in Hong Kong. This initiative underscores China's push to accelerate its BCI industry, potentially ahead of Elon Musk's Neuralink. Authorities are also planning to boost financing for BCI firms in the region. ๐ง
