π‘ Carpenter turns 5-acre land into rental empire
A Connecticut carpenter and his wife bought 5 acres in upstate New York back in 2015 for $27,000. He built three cabins on the property, transforming it into a thriving hospitality business. By September 2025, the rentals have generated over $2.1 million since the first cabin was listed in 2018. This venture started as a way to give his children a financial head start. Broomfield plans to continue expanding Evergreen Cabins for his family's future.
