science πΏ Cannabis nanovesicles show promise against tumors in mice
Scientists created nanovesicles (CH-PDNVs) from Cannabis sativa hairy roots to study their effects. This research was conducted using a soil-free hairy root culture system and published in NPJ Science of Food. These vesicles were found to have a mean diameter of ~113 nm and demonstrated stable properties across various conditions. In mice, the CH-PDNVs showed early antitumor potential by inducing dendritic cell maturation and T cell activation. Further studies will likely explore optimizing the oral administration of these sustainable nanomaterials. πΏ
