π’ BJP asks TVK govt to tone down Centre clashes
The BJP urged the TVK-led government to avoid a confrontational style with the Centre, similar to the past DMK regime. BJP State President Nainar Nagenthran made this appeal on Sunday via a social media post. He referenced Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's comments regarding railway project funding in the State. Nagenthran noted that the NDA government allocated eight times the funds compared to the UPA regime. He also mentioned the DMK regime acquired only 1,178 hectares out of the 4,612 hectare requirement.
