health ๐ฌ Big study aims to change heavy period care
A major new research project is creating the world's largest menstrual fluid biobank called CycleTrack. This study is being led by researchers from the universities of Bristol and Exeter across the UK. It will collect real-time health data and menstrual fluid samples from thousands of women between now and November 2027. The goal is to better understand heavy menstrual bleeding and conditions like endometriosis, speeding up diagnosis. Preliminary findings from this massive data collection are expected in early 2028. ๐ฌ
