π Bangladeshis make up most of illegal immigrants found in Karnataka
Karnataka police identified 911 foreign nationals allegedly staying illegally in the state over the past three years. Home Minister Priyank Kharge revealed this during the Legislative Council session in Karnataka on Thursday, August 20. Of these, 868 were identified as Bangladeshi nationals, while 365 had registered criminal cases against them. This action is part of measures to curb illegal residency without proper documentation.
