π Banana peel ash boosts aluminum strength
Researchers developed lightweight aluminum matrix composites using nanoscale banana peel ash derived from agro-waste. This study was conducted by authors at VFSTR, Vadlamudi, Guntur, AP, India. Composites with 4 wt% nano-BPA showed a 79.5% increase in ultimate tensile strength from 110 MPa to 197.5 MPa. This sustainable approach effectively enhances mechanical performance while utilizing agricultural waste as reinforcement. These results show nano-BPA can boost Al7075-T6 strength and hardness significantly. π
