A total of 19,526 seats were filled in MBA and MCA programs during the first phase of TGICET-2026 web-based counseling for the 2026-27 academic year. MBA programs saw 57% occupancy with 16,896 seats filled, while MCA programs filled 39% of their available slots. Government colleges led MBA occupancy at 95%, compared to 55% in private colleges.
