india 🗿 Ancient Vishnu Idol Found in Ranipet
Residents discovered a Vishnu idol while walking on the dry Palar riverbed in Puliyankannu village on Saturday. The idol, believed to be from the Vijayanagara era, is estimated to be around 500 years old. It measures two feet tall and 1.5 feet wide and is currently kept at the Taluk Office in Walajah town. Revenue officials confirmed the find belongs to the government under the Indian Treasure Trove Act 1878. Officials are now seeking permission from Collector Priya Ravichandran for its display at the Arcot Museum. 🗿
