Researchers compared 51 longevity studies to check which epigenetic aging biomarkers react most reliably to health interventions. The study was published in Nature Medicine, examining how various clocks respond to longevity efforts in humans. They analyzed 94 DNAm biomarkers and 16 epigenetic clocks across studies conducted up to the current time. Lifestyle and pharmacological interventions showed the strongest positive effects on reducing DNAm aging measures. These findings could speed up clinical trials by helping select better surrogate endpoints for aging research. π¬
