π 300+ stranded at Kendrapada school amid floods
Over 300 students and teachers are stuck in a flooded residential school in Kulasahi village, Kendrapada district. The 15-year-old Kulasahi Ashram School in Penthapala gram panchayat is submerged with 10-ft-deep water on the ground floor. This situation began last Saturday when Brahmani river floodwaters surged nearby. Officials confirmed students are safe on the first floor, but rescue is hard due to strong currents. The district administration has ordered relief supplies to be sent to the stranded group.
