Around 1.08 crore voters are projected to be excluded from Karnataka's initial draft electoral roll following a major enumeration exercise. This process was conducted by the Election Commission across the state, starting on June 30. The exercise identified 1,08,31,945 voters under various categories, including 15,28,985 untraceable individuals. The draft roll is slated for publication on August 24, allowing a month for objections. The final electoral roll is expected to be published on October 27 after review.
